The Origin Story of In Good Taste

Childhood friends Zach and Joe were a few glasses deep when they asked the question that started it all: Why is wine served by the glass, but sold mostly in full bottles?

That tipsy conversation became In Good Taste. We convinced award-winning winemaker Matt Smith to help us fix what's broken about buying wine: you're forced to commit to an entire bottle before you even know if you like it.

So we created something different. High-quality wines in single-glass servings. Our 6 ounce mini bottles let you try wines from around the world without pouring it down the drain or "well, guess I'm drinking this whole thing" and wake up to a hangover. Love one of the minis? Grab the full 750ml bottle. Hate one? That’s a low risk since you only tasted a glass. But we think you’ll love most 😉

We believe the world of quality wine is meant to be explored and understood. But where do you even start? The wine industry has never made things easy for us drinkers - using big words, confusing labels, and strange additives. Most wines you grab on your grocery store shelves are mass-produced by one of a handful of alcohol conglomerates.
